"Double Dragon,” from Empire Interactive Ltd., is a genuine re-creation of the classic coin-op arcade game. For the first time ever, fans of the franchise can play “Double Dragon” online with a friend over Xbox LIVE.1 The game features enhanced art, a new soundtrack and a host of extras.
“Double Dragon” will be available worldwide for 400 Microsoft Points and is rated E10+ by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, with mild suggestive themes and violence.

Final Fantasy, fighter, Sony's PSP?

Well it looks like Square Enix is revisiting the fighting genre with its upcoming Sony PSP title Final Fantasy Dissidia.
If you examine the page, you're sure to spy the presence of Final Fantasy IX's rat-tailed thief, Zidane, duking it out with his crystal-hating nemesis, Kuja. It remains to be seen whether Square Enix will include characters from across the series or not.

Virtua Fighter 2 coming to Wii's Virtual Console

This week Wii owners can get in the ring with the MEGA DRIVE version of one of the best fighting games of all time. Virtual Console is graced by the ground-breaking Virtua Fighter 2 a game which helped evolve the fighting genre into the modern era when it launched in 1996.
