(default)Arcana Heart Coming to PS2 in April
Posted by godboko71 at 00:00:01 CST
Atlus announced Arcana Heart, a 2D fighter bursting with brawling anime-style beauties, for the PlayStation 2 will ship April 8th.

"Beyond our world lies that of the Elemental beings, the Arcana. These mighty spirits offer their abilities to the Maidens, those rare humans who are able to communicate with them. Long ago, our worlds were connected. However, the two worlds unexpectedly split apart, and a dimensional boundary was formed between them, separating our world from the Arcana. Seeking to harness their energy, the mysterious Mildred Avalon is trying to form a rift in the boundary and merge the worlds once more. Should her plan succeed, life on our world will never be the same again. Only the Maidens, with the help of their Arcana, can prevent her from bringing an end to all humanity.

Key Features
- Battles heat up with 11 beautiful female fighters to choose from.
- Arcana add new attack and defense skills. Build your combat strategy by selecting from 11 different Arcana to pair with your fighter.
- Huge battle maps let you rain down punishment on your opponent with air dashes and homing techniques to create devastating aerial combos."

NamcoUbisoft to Distribute Soulcalibur Titles in PAL Territories
Posted by godboko71 at 00:00:01 CST
Looks like Ubisoft will be the publisher of the upcoming Soulcalibur games in all PAL territories.

"Ubisoft today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Namco Bandai to bring Soulcalibur IV on Xbox 360 and PS3, and Soulcalibur Legends on Wii, to Europe and other PAL territories, including Australia. The announcement states that both games will be available in those territories in winter 2008 (or summer for those of you in the Northern hemisphere).

Soulcalibur IV is the latest instalment in the highly regarded weapons-based fighting series, and a recent announcement revealed that Yoda will be featured as a playable character in the 360 version of the game, while Darth Vader will be playable in the PS3 version. You can read all about the announcement here. Soulcalibur Legends, on the other hand, is a departure from the series' traditional focus, shifting more toward action adventure. It's already available in the United States, which means that if it really is coming in winter, PAL gamers face a considerable delay."
