Friday, April 12, 2002 Major Site Maintenance Scheduled
Posted by White_Pointer @ 19:13:38 AEST
Well, for those of you who have actually found this site somehow, and to the staff members, the site is going to be undergoing major rescripting in the next few weeks. We are upgrading our news script and also adding some major capabilities to the site, including polls, dynamic site resizing and later on down the track, a forums feature.
This means that the site will not have any major game updates until we have the new features implemented, and the site itself may go down periodically as we do our desk checking and trial runs.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but once these new features are up and working, the site will be a lot better and a lot more flexible. We thank you for your patience.

Tuesday, April 2, 2002 Tekken 4 Character revealed
Posted by DStroy @ 19:12:12 AEST
ps2.ign.com has posted news regarding the character Alfonzo, first seen just before Jun Kazama in Tekken 2's starting video on the PSX. Aparently he is available in Tekken 4. The full story can be found here. Obviously this might also be a april fools joke by the ps2.ign.com team, we'll just have to wait and see if someone who has the imported version already can confirm this.

Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Contest!
Posted by White_Pointer @ 10:44:30 AEST
Midway have announced that they are holding a Mortal Kombat : Deadly Alliance artwork contest! The 10 winners will have their artwork placed in the finished game for the whole world to see, as well as receiving free copies of the game when it ships in September! Unfortunately it is only open to residents of the US and you must be 17 years or over, so if you fit these criteria, head on over to Midway's Official site Here and check it out! In site news, the Super Smash Brothers (original) pics are now up, and pretty soon the SSBM music section will be available, so stay tuned!
