Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance has just been entered into the special programs run by the console companies for games that have sold a lot of units. It's been entered into the Playstation 2's and XBox's Platinum Hits collection already, and will become one of Nintendo's Player's Choice titles on October 27th.

Since it's US launch in November 2002, MK: DA has sold over 2 million copies worldwide, with 250,000, 400,000 and 450,000 units sold for the Gamecube, XBox and PS2 respectively in North America alone.

The game will now be retailing with the new price tag of US$19.99. So if you don't own MK: DA yet...this is a great opportunity to pick it up at a great price!
