Lastly we are doing a slight site remodel, getting all the current content back up to snuff and getting new stuff to you all. If any of you have any comments or questions feel free to post on the forums or to email me directly.

Why the long wait for Street Fighter IV
Posted by godboko71 at 00:00:01 CST
GameSetWatch asked just that...
"If we look at the history of the series, we had the four officially numbered titles: Street Fighter 1, and II, and then we did Zero, which of course is the Alpha series [in the west], and then III.
In all honesty, and I feel this way, to a degree — we could have stopped at III and been pretty satisfied. We didn't hit a brick wall, so to speak, but we did pretty much all we could do with 2D fighters by the time we got to III. We were very satisfied with the results, and it was hard to imagine doing more than that; certainly, staying within 2D."

Fist of the North Star Fighter comes to PC via Flash
Posted by godboko71 at 00:00:01 CST
FLASHKOF & Sega (Well kind of anyway) bring you Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the North Star.)
The game includes 10 characters, a pretty neat soundtrack and some amazing graphics, all packed into a flash game you can play on your keyboard. The controls are a bit awkward because they force you to move with the arrow keys and attack with the number pad, but you will got used to it pretty quickly.
Play the game by going to FlashKOF.

Wii fans wanting more Super Smash Bros. apperntly got just that since Nintendo announced today that it had shifted 1.4 million copies of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in the United States during its first week on store shelves, with 874,000 of those being snapped up on day one. Reasons Behind No SSF2T HD Remix Beta on PS3
Posted by godboko71 at 00:00:01 CST
Over in the Ask Capcom forum, Christian Svensson (Capcom’s Vice-President of Strategic Planning & Business Development) weighed in on some disappointment about the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta not coming to PS3.
"1. We are resource constrained. This project already has gone over the original budget (we had a new budget approved to accomodate our dedication to its quality and the new features… there were even a few we wanted to do that had to get cut in the end… more on that in a post mortem blog or something). Anyway, we wanted to do a beta to test the new network features but even if it were possible for Sony to do, it would require 3 submissions (US, Europe, Asia/Japan) to reach the same global audience we can with MS in a single test and global submission."
Lets not forget this is a beta not a demo, sorry PS3 fans you will just have to wait for the final release.
Visit Capcom's blog for a full explanation.
